I think it would be fun to write paraliterature explaining all the things that didn't make sense about the show.

How about this? The Howells really own the island, and have a secret stockpile of modern conveniences. The whole shipwreck is an elaborate scheme to flee the IRS or the FBI or whatever. They somehow convince Gilligan to deliberately wreck the boat on the island. Afterward, he continues to act on the Howells' orders, ruining all the Professor's rescue schemes. Since money is of no use to bribe Gilligan, I figure the Howells have some sort of psychological hold on him. Maybe they control Mary Ann and have her satisfy Gilligan sexually.

The frog cartoon was always my favorite plus this one which I haven't seen in years..How many remember this holiday toon? .....And a bunch of 1930s/40s toons where ya have to follow the bouncing ball.

Crud, you must be much older than you've told me.
