The nice thing is; the more batteries you add, the longer your range. I had a Mazda B2200 pickup (all Mazda, pre-Ford version) all lined up for the project. Lightweight, manual tranny, no power anything, and a long bed version, room for as much or as little the number of batteries I wanted. The kit I was looking at had a 100 mile range and tops speeds of 90mph.

And then life throws you a curve..... had to sell it.

Aw well. maybe someday.

Put them under the hood of that beast. Plenty of room.

Bottom line currently inner city cars only. drive them 10 - 15 miles one way to work and home and then charge them up over night. But the price of the technology is still to high. Just think if you had one and wanted to drive to FL.
