While I don’t believe in praying for trivia like “Help me get ready for family Thanksgiving dinner at my house”, I did say a little prayer for serenity along the way of getting ready. Now, had some tall, dark, and handsome stranger happened into my life to share the load, I would have been sure that my real prayer had been answered.

What I got instead was a “found day off” on a beautiful day. I got a lot done; most of it the outside stuff that I was totally sweating since it has rained every open weekend lately. There’s nothing like good work on a nice day to reset your spirit!
