Bear Creek "Darn Good" Chili Mix

Anyone tried this yet? I've seen it in McKay's for some time now and thought about trying it, but never picked it up. Today was the day! Drizzly and gloomy, with my ankle sprained, I didn't feel like doing any cooking. Had the Son stop by and pick some up, along with some corn muffin mix. Anyway, the mix calls for water and tomato paste. Everything else is in there.

I was a little leery, but let me tell you, it was good! I added ground beef (and a little pinch of sugar to take away some of the acid), then of course, we had to have sour cream and shredded cheddar. This is definitely going to be a "do again" in belvak land.

Bear Creek Country Kitchens Darn Good Chili Mix, 9.8 Ounce Bags (Pack of 6): Amazon.com: Grocery

I shudder at the thought of chili mix but I'd be willing to try Trevor's Stiff Willi.

Uh, that didn't come out right....

I tried a couple of the Bear Creek soups, thought they had WAY too much salt. I didn't like them, still prefer to make my own.
