That's right. Pumpkin is a wonderful source of vitamins and fiber..totally cancels out any sugar, caramel, and frosting involved.


still to be safe I gave them away. I had one..cuz they were delicious..but gave the rest away.make other people fat..not me!

You are all evil people! It's bad enough that I ended up baking a pie & biscuits today. Now you've got me hungry for pumpkin cupcakes & pumpkin bread! I'm going to end up with 15 extra pounds to give Toppick instead of just the 10 I offered him earlier today!!

Oh, and here's the pumpkin bread recipe I use: Pumpkin Bread Recipe : : Food Network. I don't use all of the spices listed though as my family is kind of picky about spices. I just use cinnamon & bump the amount up to 2 teaspoons. It's a nice, moist bread that tastes great with cream cheese!

...darn it, do I have any pumpkin & cream cheese in my cupboards & fridge :goestocheckingredientsneededtogetfatter:

I vote we all lobby to make pumpkin its own food group!!! At least 3 servings a day of anything with pumpkin in it! We may all be a bit heavier, but we would be a lot happier!!! Can I hear an AMEN?

And, not that I would promote it, but there really are healthy ways to use pumpkin in recipes!
