Wenchy-compared to last nights eggs, I had great success. Some of the eggs didn't peel real good.

They need to cool down after the process. I fill the pot with cold water and change it every few minutes. I then take a heavy tablespoon and whack the egg all around while holding and spinning it in my hand (I have received strange looks for this, but it works...I think my mom taught me this) Then I place the tablespoon upside down under the egg and the entire shell falls off. I have had a few failures (fresh eggs) but many more successes.

Google "perfect hard boiled eggs".

Yes, I love hard boiled eggs/egg salad/deviled eggs.

You should try my method. Bring water to a boil, add eggs, boil for 14 min, then immediately put eggs in ice water until cool.

You [B]boil [B] for 14 min? That sounds like a lot of boiling.

I know, it sounds like a lot but doesn't overcook them. You could probably back it down to 12 minutes if you wanted.

Although frankly, AppyPasoWhateveah, I've been pretty nice to you anyway.
