Summer Goodies.....

O.K. the Crab Dip thread got me really hungry for that this weekend. I am really looking forward to grilled hot dogs and potato salad (I love hot dogs and don't allow them too often) but what other interesting summer goodies are you all planning? Anything new and interesting?

Had it yesterday, with fresh cilantro stuffed inside the husk before grilling.

That sounds interesting, what else is added to the corn? (Butter, Old Bay?) How did you make it? (Ice water prior to grilling?)

I don't use butter on sweet corn, don't think it needs it, JMHO. There are many ways to grill corn. Check out some of these recipes.

Hmmm...that sounds good. Do you partially husk it to get the cilantro in there?

I do use a little butter and Old Bay on mine. Soak in water before putting it on the grill. Geez, I'm making myself hungry, gotta get off this page. LOL

Yes, but I never soak them in water. Especially if they are fresh and the husks are still pretty wet.
