| Tap water 'better than bottled brands' http://www.thelocal.de/society/20120628-43443.html Buying expensive bottled water rather than getting it out of a tap could not only be a waste of money, but have much fewer health benefits than advertisers would like consumers to believe, a German watchdog said on Thursday. They found that two thirds of bottled water contained barely any of the minerals that they claimed to have and in many cases, drinking a glass of the wet stuff from a tap was by far more beneficial health-wise. Germs are also tricky for the bottled water industry - as in over a third of the bottles tested the Warentest experts found some sort of bacteria. This would not necessarily be dangerous, but the potential was there for people with weakened immune systems, and babies, to become ill.

| People just suck down trends. I always thought it would be funny to bottle mexican water and slap some fancy slogan on it just to see how many sheeple would jump on the bandwagon. Call it something like "SUN-brero" sparkling yucatan brown. Enjoy the medicinal benefits !!!

| Philly Water, though..... Yah, but that "dirty water" like they have in Philly in New York makes the BEST bread! Does your water taste like iron? If so, fire up the breadmaker!

| Bottled water is convenient. Especially when you need it by the case. |

It has who knows what chemicals in it, high chlorine to try and fight the crap that clogs those hundred year old pipes. and all of this is coming out of some lake that people crap and pee in. I will take treated well water any day.
