Spaghetti

Am I the only one who thinks its a punishable crime to serve spaghetti without appropriate bread ? Husband wants spaghetti but won't go get decent bread. :pouting:

I prefer salad with spaghetti instead of bread, but kids think garlic bread or garlic breadsticks are a vital part to the complete spaghetti experience and ignore the salad.

I don't understand spaghetti with bread. You already have a starch with the pasta - why do you need bread?

Why didn't you grab it on your way home from work?

Although the spaghetti/garlic bread combo is one of the best flavor combinations in life, the carb blitz will land you on the couch unable to move if you eat them together.

I always have spaghetti, 2 meatballs and plenty of grated cheese. If I'm going to have garlic bread too, I lessen the amount of spaghetti and only use the bread to sop up the sauce at the end...

If I need garlic bread, I take whatever bread I have on hand (stale is good) and butter it and garlic powder it and put in toaster oven. Viola....garlic bread.

I was already home when he decided he'd like spaghetti. I will toast some dinner rolls with a garlic spread I suppose.

I could honestly skip the pasta all together.
