I'm a no bull#### kind of person if I'm paying someone to help me with something... I'd probably be "awwwww" cute and play with the puppy for 5 minutes then get annoyed after that. Everyone loves puppies (if you don't then OK, maybe that's why you're in therapy)... but if she brought the puppy to my sessions more than once I'd probably stop seeing her, as it'd be more of a distraction to me. I guess it all depends on what problems you're seeking counseling for.

Carol is a good therapist. Her dogs are full grown and for the most part laid back and out of the way. As for Carol, she is a little "earthy" and initially outside my comfort zone. But she has a calm way of talking and helping you sort through your issues/difficulties. She did wonders for me a couple years ago.
