Exclamation Dental Care For Toddler

I am unemployed w/o dental insurance for my toddler. Hubby's employer won't cover her. Since Hub is working we make too much to qualify for assistance, yet DEFINITELY not enough to pay for dental care. Is there a trusted pediatric dentist that offers payment plans and/or sliding-scale prices? Charles County does but they can't see her till February 2010; she needs to go sooner than that.

Dental Schools often offer free or low cost dental care. There is one in Baltimore...check this list and give them a call.

Start a savings account for dental appointments. If you put money away every month you can save enough to pay for her care. Dental insurance is nice to have but it is not intended to pay for all dental services 100%. A lot of times people pay more in premiums for dental coverage then what they would pay for routine work.
