If it makes you feel better, the last time I seen 128, I was a sophmore in high school I think

Seem to. They're VERY hormone driven which they've always been but it seems as if I only get them when I'm PMSing or if I've been up all night. They tried anti-convulsants which didn't do jack to prevent them and made me "special". The headaches have lessened but are not gone. There are other meds that they can try or they can just give me the cotton picking botox (we have to go through all the meds before the insurance co will pay for the botox).

My thought it while the headaches are better they're far from gone and I'm not willing to deal with a bunch of weight gain for a partial result. My blood pressure is already fairly low. She was iffy about putting me on a beta blocker to begin with. I just don't think the results are warranting the side effects.

...

I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough
'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get wit'cha
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But with that butt you got makes me feel so horny
Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you wanna get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupy
I've seen them dancin'
The hell with romancin'
She's sweat, wet,
Got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy butt!
Baby got back!

I'm old enough that I should be putting on a couple. I got on the scale the other day.... 15 pounds! 15 pounds since November which I think is pretty considerable!

Has anyone had any success in controlling weight gain on a beta blocker?

I took Inderal LA for YEARS. I had to stop taking it when I found out I was pregnant. I never noticed a problem with weight gain while taking it though.

A beta blocker like Inderal is not supposed to stop the migraines from happening, but it's supposed to make them fewer and less painful.

No preventative is going to completely stop them. My point it I'm still getting them around the time of my period and if I stay up all night. I just don't see the benefit being better than the shortfalls. I shouldn't have to "diet" because of a medication unless that med is kick ass which this one while helpful is nothing to write home about.

I was on that for a really long time. I never noticed any considerable weigh gain when I was on it, but since I have been off of it I have lose a few pounds, but that could be due to the new stuff they put me on.
