Ok...

...first off, I'd take the 'petunia' looking snap dragon and pinch off about half the foliage, trying to leave 6 nodes or pairs of leaves. Same thing for the snap dragon looking snapdragon, maybe take 2/3's of that because it has so many nodes. You'll get fuller, bushier and, in about 2 weeks, way more blooms.

Will do for both... I take it I need to pinch off the tallest (flowering parts) for sure, huh...

You can put up fake plants until your other ones grow back

...you don't need to. You can leave them just the way they are and enjoy them as they are. You'd mentioned that they were not doing much of anything and, sometimes, like with bad foliage, a pinch will do the trick. If they are growing just fine now, let 'em be.

...out! That's like saying you can have a snack before dinner and eating...a piece of plastic fruit.

There's a garden, what a garden
Only happy faces bloom there
And there's never any room
For a worry or a gloom
There's music, and there's dancing
And a lot of sweet romancing
When they play the polka
They all get in the swing
Everytime you hear that Oom-pah-pah
Everbody feels so tra-la-la-la
They only want to come back for one thing
They crowd around and sing trolly-olly-ay
And you hear that rumble on the floor
It's a big (HA HA HA HA) surprise you're waiting for
Then all at once everybody, everybody, forms a ring
(Spoken: Come on everybody get up and form a ring. That's
the way, everybody get up and form a big ring. That's the way.
Then all at once you form a ring. Everybody get up and form a
ring. Here's a tenth of everybody....)
For miles around, you'll hear them sing

Roll out the barrel, We'll have a barrel of fun
Roll out the barrel, we've got the blues on the run
Zing Boom Terrara
Join in a glass of good cheer
Now it's time to roll the barrel
For the gang's all here (Spoken: Take it away boys!)

So is this the ask larry thread about gardening?? Cause I need some knowledge...

so, last year, I had some heather that is potted by my door. Big pots, about the size you would do a potted tomato plant. Anyway- because of this whacky weather- they bloomed back in like march- and then got killed off of course. Last year, when I got them from the nursery- they were big bushy and beautiful with the little purple flowers.. and I got them in the end of April- and they fared all year until around december when they finally died off. I cut it back and again- like I said- this year- they came back- beautiful- but the whacked weather killed them off. So- I cut them back about 3 weeks ago- after they crapped out- and I am wondering what your thoughts would be.. do you think they will come back?
