| I think mainly in the tuning. Not sure if they are the same size or not. I only played it a few times.... My Ex bought it for me so I tossed it under my bed where I don't have to mess with it. |

| There really is none. Also, I'd go with thequizmaster's suggestion with renting. Your daughter may find that she may not want the violin. You'll save money. Then you can buy a saxophone. |
