What would be a better event to hold in CRE for Father's Day.... Soap Box Derby or Radio Controlled Car Race?

Do we have the right hills in CRE for a Soap Box Derby?

Is there some kind of club for either of these?

Not sure about hills or clubs but R/C cars are VERY pricey - you have people who have low OR high end electric or gas operated...

I would say a Soap Box Derby would be more of a father/son bonding experience as both can contribute with the physical building of it. Plus the cost can be as little or as much money they wanted to invest.

Oh I love that idea... that is too funny.... Wonder where I can find a hill where they won't kill themselves.... I love it...

Are you looking for entertainment or family involvement? I was refering to bringing you a mini x-games style event with a downhill skateboard and street luge event and perhaps a slalom skateboard event... locals could enter or try the equipment, but the pros from the east coast could give you one heck of a show....and to top it off I could ride uphill with the Jet Luge... let me know if you find this interesting or not. And also if there are any hills and the date of the event. The bigger and nastier hill the better. At a minimum we could do a demo during what ever gravity event you may have...

It might be fun to schedule a demo... some people might enjoy watching this.... and I'd love to look into it... We are Chesapeake Ranch Estates... our hills are good... I guess....
