art/ craft classes

Our shop is planning to add additional art/craft classes and I am looking for some input on what people are interested in learning. Any ideas?

Depending on the hours of the classes (not late evening/night classes) and the cost, I'd be interested in cake decorating, quilting, and ceramics/pottery.

Wait until dowhat sees you are planning on goofing off rather than getting your chores done in a reasonable timeframe.

Hush yo' mouf.

Can't I have just *one* afternoon to do nothing but what I want to do?

At the moment we offer spinning, knitting, decorative painting and a couple of different types of weaving classes. We're thinking we might add jewelry, painted floorcloth and needle felting workshops. Mostly I do crazy quilting and I can show you how I do that. It's easy, quick and uses up every bit of scraps.
Can't help you with the ceramics or pottery, that's a whole different set up. I can tell you if you are over 50 the senior center in Charlotte Hall they have a nice ceramic/pottery studio with wheels, slab roller and a kiln. Plus they sell greenware if you want to go that way.
I thought Michaels had cake decorating classes?

Michaels does have cake decorating classes but from what I have heard they are not that informative or well taught.
