Anyone else build their own guitar effects??

Just wondering if anyone local is building their own guitar/bass effects pedals. I do it as a hobby and I love it.

Seeing if there are any others interested in it.

Most of my effects are built-in to the amp. (Fender Cyber-Deluxe)

Have you ever up-graded a Tube Screamer?

Never thought of building my own pedals. Don't use them much anymore with the onboard stuff so prevelent.

With that said...

Can you build a compressor sutainer and or tremolo?
Can you fix an old Digitech chorus-delay-flanger?

Sorry.. Not an everyday kinda member.

I basically learned from just playing around with broken circuits and experimenting with different effects. There is a lot on the internet as well.

I have built just about any kind of analog effect you can think of. More Tubescreamers than I can shake a stick at. Modding them is fairly easy for me. I have done OD, distortion, compressors, tremolos, flangers, vibes, chorus, on and on..... I have also built pedals from scratch with just a schematic and the required parts.

Pedal repairs are fairly simple. It is often the parts needed and the time invested that cost. Some of the older pedal parts can be quite high.

If anyone is interested, PM me and we can discuss this. Be it as a hobby or if you need help fixing something.

Do you work on amplifiers by any chance? I do have a Boss Digital Delay that crapped out.
