We're looking ourselves for a modular/ palletized home manufacturer for either a garage or an addition.

I have had my house plan priced out by a modular company in Gaithersburg. They deal with 3 different companies to get the best deal. Will post the name when I find the business card. Still waiting for the results.

Clayton Homes, there is a location outside of Fredricksburg. Parents had one built, they changed location of windows and doors for them, also bathroom upgrade. Check them out, I know they were cheaper then Cherry Cove.

Is the place in Hughesville still there? I'm not sure of the name but if they are there, I know of someone who checked into them and they even have available lots to build on if you do not have your own.

They are still there but a friend of mine found them to be over priced. He pruchased a home out of state and had it DELIVERED for 2/3 of the cost they quoted.

When I went to build my house, I looked at modular homes but couldn't find the style I wanted. But I've heard very good things about Cherry Cove Builders and in fact, I almost went with them to build my stick-built house, although they do a lot of modular homes too.
