Mean looking frog

Does anyone know what kind of frog this is? I found 4 or 5 of them in my pond, and they're creeping me out! I love frogs, but this one just looks mean. Should I put them back in? I also had a big green bullfrog. Those I like. These, not so much.

As soon as you get it identified, I'd put them back. It may not be indigenous to this area, but I doubt that they are some mutant killer frog who will eat your eyes from their sockets while you're sleeping.

Did you try licking it? You might catch a good buzz

That first pic does look like some kind of cross between a frog and a gator. Hold on to them CG, they might be valuable. Think they are full grown?
