Why would anyone plant these? Do they like their home to smell like urine? Or can some people just not smell it?

There are different types. Not all boxwoods smell like cat piss or have a smell at all. But I know what your talking about. The old house had them on either side of the front door. They were pretty but I got rid of them pretty damn quick!!
