Not me - I'm out of room. I just put in some gorgeous scarlet salvia and two pots of dahlias out front, two large containers of Million Bells on the side patio, and four pots of begonias on the deck. Between the flowers and the veggies, I spend over an hour a day watering and tending.

You don't have to tend plastic flowers. Hit the flower bed with some round up every couple months to get rid of the nasty "live" stuff, and you're done. Easy-peasy!

It's the needy tomatoes. The flowers are content with every day for the pots and every few days for the inground. But the tomatoes - oh no! They're constantly thirsty, especially in this heat, and want a drink twice a day.

Gotcha... hubby nurtures our veggie garden daily. I only majorly get involved when I have to turn the maters into gallons of speghetti sauce and prep it for the freezer.

Also, if it rains the flowers are good to go for awhile. But I don't want unauthorized water on my tomatoes - they're sensitive.

Who's still gardening?
I could use 2 or 3 flats full of the vinca ground cover, not the annual vinca. Haven't found it down here. Found it last year, and it died due to the kids stomping on it. Gotta find it in the fall so I can replant the area.

Lowes had it earlier in the season.
