| HVAC Heating Company HVAC Heating Company recommendations. Having problems with a heat pump icing up. Located in Huntingtown Calvert County. Any recommendations on a repair company or any to stay away from. TIA

My parents have had such issues in the past during both the summer and the winter, the fix turned out to being a clogged drain line for the unit. Take the time to look at the condensate drains lines coming from your unit - they are typically made from plastic hose that crack and fall apart over time, they are susceptible to being hit with weed-eater string, and little critters (bugs and spiders) will build homes or create other blockages in such.
