Shower Faucets

What Brand would you recommend?
Kohler
Moen
Delta
Kraus
Grohe
American Standard

The list goes on and on.

We currently have Delta that was installed when the house was built back in 1990. I would like to replace the whole valve assembly with separate hot and cold valve shut offs. A brand that will be around with parts available for years later.

I think both will be around for some time but I like the quality of Kohler more. Yust my opinion.

The current Delta is gold color finish and the wife wants it brush nickel to match the sink faucet that she bought and I had to install. So I was hoping to be able to replace the trim hardware on the shower faucet (control and shower head). Nope, no replacement. Have to replace the whole valve.

Ugh. Sorry, I stand corrected. Even more reason to go with Kohler.

I would love to buy an American made product, but figure the odds of it staying in business to buy replacement parts years from now.
