Composite stirrups

Does anybody know if Elam carries them? They are the really lightweight black stirrups.

Also, has anybody used them? Thoughts on them

not sure if he has them. i know he had some metal ones with a broader surface for the foot which looked neat. the problem i had with light weight ones - harder to feel them to pick them back up if you lose a stirrup, cause they are so light weight. i like the heavy ones

Maybe I will just order them from Dover and return them if needed. I had the same thoughts you did about being such light weight but I've had several trainers talk about how much they love them and how you'll never want to go back to regular stirrups after you use them. Worth a shot I suppose!
