Subject: Mare adoption

Thousands of mares in need of immediate homes face slaughter. The

Please spread the word. You never know when someone you know, knows
someone that knows someone that can help.
Thanks for your help.

Whoa, Nelly! I have horses and 4-wheelers. I enjoy them both. I do agree that irresponsible riders of any type should be caught up with, but just because you don't have an interest in something doesn't mean it should be outlawed.

Subject: Belgian PMU Mares for Sale in PA

This is a cross post from The Draft Page
http://www.hoof.com/draft/index.html

I don't know anything about them, but one advantage is you can go
see them
since they are in the US. Please cross post to people that you know
that may be
interested.
sue

Gerry & Dori Gray are looking for homes for 20-25 Belgian mares due
to foal
between March & April 2004. They are between 7 & 15 years of age and
weigh
between 1800 to 2400 lbs. These mares were original from a Premarin
farm in
southwestern Canada that closed down and were scheduled for
slaughter. They Gray's
rescued them before this happened. They are now just a little south
of Erie, Pa.

They are asking between $650.00 to $850.00 for the mares.

I am not able to provide a home, however trying to get the
information out
there to try and help these horses.

If you can help with a home or just keep passing on the information
on maybe
we can find these horses and foals a safe place to live.

Please contact the Gray's direct at 1-814-796-2234
--- End forwarded message ---
