My BFF gave me one of her kidneys.

Not really, but that would be really nice, huh?

One of the nicest things my best friend does it to just randomly send me a text message letting me know that she's thinking about me.

It warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.

I have a friend who takes Boy on his annual Christmas shopping trip so he can buy presents for people with his own money so they don't know.

I have a friend who has been through hell and back with me and has a great house on the Potomac. I could show up there any time and she would take me in and spoil me rotten. She's the best.

I have a friend that I used to work with. She still calls me to this day and says.. OMG I miss you! I love that girl. I think our friendship has grown since I left.

Desertrat went into the swamp this weekend and got me pond plants. He does nice crap for me all the time. Today he installed those great blinking brake lights on my bike.

My truly "nicest" things to list are not open-board approved. This tread sure is bringing up a lot of memories though!

Most of my true, long-term friends (that have known me forever) have been so unselfish, that I am ashamed of myself for not keeping in touch.

And pretty much the folks I've come to know some now a days are all very giving people.

I have a history of really sucky birthdays. This year a friend cooked dinner for me and bought me a little cake. I got to eat a great meal and even blow out a candle. I don't think they have any idea how much it meant to me but, it still makes me smile.
