Unselfish friends

Ooh, I just thought of a good one. During my senior year of college, I was living on the shore, and I didn't know anyone. My parents were just separated and I was finding it extremely difficult to cope at times. Several times I was really feeling down so I called my ex-BF and he drove an hour just to listen to me cry and keep me company. There was nothing in it for him, but he did it anyways.
