I have a friend who will build me up when I am down. It doesn't matter what we do just hanging with her is the best, we make eachother laugh so much we pee our pants. She is beautiful, amazing, super smart and strong (she doesn't think she is strong though). She will drop what she is doing if any of her friends are in need.

I also have my biological sisters who are so loving and giving, wish they were closer.

How did they know you forgot to pay your mortgage?

I told them. I was marveling at my own stupidity with them.

Oh, I thought of another one. I called an ex-BF too. I called him to see if he would come pick me up and drive me home. I was doin' the "Tear in My Beer" one night after work at the "I Can't Tell Ya Bar", over a current guy at the time. He came and picked me up and drove my sorry, drunk a$$ home to Waldorf. No strings attached. However, I had driven him many a time on his drunken stoopers.

Ya know... the memory of quite a number of forumites pulling together to send Dems well wishes during her scary, trying time of need just popped into my head. I was very impressed at how unconditionally thoughtful and generous a number of folks here were... and I know it caught Dems off guard and meant a lot to her.

I remember that, although I didn't participate. I had just started talking to Dems, and I didn't know. I was kinda sad I didn't get to help.

Ask him to do it now.

Price for cup of coffee: $1.09
Price to drive from Mechville to Waldorf & back: $23.75

That touched me too - how we all pulled together to show support to someone that many of us had probably never even met.

I know. Multiquote is my friend.
