Notary at Pax River NAS?

I need to get something notarized. Is there a notary on base for active duty to go get things notarized? I can't find any useful directory for services on base.
Thanks in advance.

Cedar Point Federal Credit Union should have one.

When I was active duty, base legal could do it. Check with your command legal officer.

Legal office above Personnel Support Department. You may want to call first just in case you need an appointment. Call 301 342 3000 for the number.

When I had to get my refinance papers notorized, any senior officer is a notary. My Commander said any officer with a rank of Commander or higher is a notary. I'm not active duty, but he notorized it - no notary stamp, but they accepted his signature alone, with "Commander, USN". Mortgage company accepted it.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that'll fly since my husband is a CDR. The bank may say "thanks for having your buddy sign it, now go get it notarized". But wouldn't THAT be convenient. I'll be happy to get this refinance stuff DONE.

Update: looks like they could notarize his stuff but they want a "raised seal" that we can't get that way. Oh well! Legal office is doing it.
