There's nothing wrong with being a sub. Most people have to have a job where they need to be home for their children after school. Namely me. My husband has a good job and a side job that he does at home. He doesn't want me to work but I will sub every once in a while so I can have money of my own.

I never had a problem getting a job here - had one within minutes of moving.

It took me a few years. Even then it was because of who I knew, not my qualifications. I also lost a job due to nepotism. Fired to make room for a relative.

Maybe the people that you are trying to work for are devil worshippers.

You are going for positions that dozens of others are going after, too.

I want to work full time but my 11 year old won't stay by herself for an hour or two. I tried working part time but the money wasn't squat and when I came home after the bus she had her friend in here and they were eating everything and jumping all over instead of doing their homework. She's afraid that if she comes home by herself someone is going to come here and get her. Her cousin made her watch that movie Eye for an Eye with Sally Field last year and now she won't stay alone for more than a half hour.
