Thumbs up BREAKING NEWS: 301 Bypass, Phase 1 - Western Parkway OPEN

When driving home, I saw the new Western Parkway was open for vehicles, but they still supposedly have to put a light at the Hamilton-Western JCT.

Don't you mean the Western-Acton Junction?

Andy is happy this evening, he is not venting about a traffic problem like last night.

NO

Your not saying they are going to put a light where the new section of Western Pkwy meets with the spot where Hamilton merges into it just before Springhaven?

That would be correct, seems to be taking really long time for that section of road to be completed. That is going to be a great bypass of 301 from Mattawomen Beantown Rd at 301 down to Rosewick at 301.
They will have to definately change that 4-way stop at the Parkway and Billingsley to a stoplight, when they open the rest of the Parkway.

That road is going to make our little buddy ANDY very happy when it opens up, when he leaves his place of employment on Radio Station Rd. he can get on that road and be to Waldorf before his car engine even gets warm.
We won't have to here him whine about some aggressive driver on 301 nearly running over him while he is doing the speed limit.
