Please don't bury me
Down in that cold cold ground
No, I'd druther have "em" cut me up
And pass me all around
Throw my brain in a hurricane
And the blind can have my eyes
And the deaf can take both of my ears
If they don't mind the size
Give my stomach to Milwaukee
If they run out of beer
Put my socks in a cedar box
Just get "em" out of here
Venus de Milo can have my arms
Look out! I've got your nose
Sell my heart to the junkman
And give my love to Rose

I want to be buried intact, no box, no preservatives in a quiet place with a tree planted on top of me.

When they eventually tear down the tree to slam a townhouse on top of it they'll find my bones clinging to the roots and scratch their heads wondering who the damn tree hugger is

I want all medically usable parts of me donated to whatever branches of the medical arts that can make best use of them. Then I want whatever's left to be disposed of in whatever's judged at the time to have the minimum possible environmental impact.

My parents chose cremation, with their ashes mixed together and scattered on the Doane College (Crete, Nebraska) campus. (Doane College has informed them that they're cool with that. They were both Doane professors.) I'm temporarily holding custody of my mother's ashes so I'll carry out the request when my father dies.

I have chosen all organs to be donated and then
I want to be cremated and have my ashes spread by my loved ones/friends. Riding on their horses hauling assing as fast as they can with my ashes flying off into the wind. What a way to go........going out in a blaze of glory

Like you I believe a cemetary is a very wasteful use of land.

Part me out and burn the leftovers

At least then I'll know I'm really dead and won't be just in a coma or something and get buried alive. Wouldn't that be scary?
