I'd say the vast majority of SoMD will never see FIOS. Well until 2034, when it's all paved and called Waldorf.

and seriously, #### the cable companies (comcast) .... they don't honor their contracts so they have no legel leg to stand on when it comes to telling the phone companies they can't provide TV.

It would be nice if they do install it. Crap it would be nice if Verizon extended there DSL range.

I got an estimate last week from Metrocast to install Cable internet and they wanted $3563 for the installation. Told me they would have to run 890 feet of cable, and they where giving me a deal of 300 ft for free. I had asked the lady how the reliabilty of the there internet is, she said they have not had to many complaints.


Verizon came and inspected my house which is brand new. They said I have everything set up for DSL, they just cant get the signal to my house. Told me I am .4 miles to far away from station on our road. I asked when it would be extended, they told me there is not enough people who want it to justify the cost of extending it.

I live in chaptico and it is said all my neighbors can get metrocast or verizon, but since i am 800 feet off of the road, I cant get crap.

Crap is what we all are getting.

Nothing pisses me off like watching a Verizon ad saying hook up to DSL and I cant.

If they cannot supply it to everyone they shouldnt be allowed to advertise it.

The other ad that gets to me is the one where this azzwip[e goes around sayiong , "Can you hear me yet??""

NO Gotdamnit they cant hear me. I live in the 7th district. my Verizon phone doesnt work after the Old Gum. Chaptico, Clements?? Dead as a doornail.

I can see the damned tower and it doesnt work.

Where are my Coujnty Commissioners, Sitting on their butts.

My verizon cell phone works in our area barely. I can recieve phone calls and text messages but i cant make calls.

My service depends on the weather, if it is cloudy I can make calls, if it is sunny no way no service.

I to can see the tower in the distant and have no clue why i dont have service.
