Can someone make a recommendation for a good experienced local home builder around here now that I also am relocating here?

I'd be looking for one similar to the one I had tentatively selected back home just before the relocation decision. He is a custom home builder in Appleton, Wisconsin

Are any of those who advertise on this site good from what you have heard?

Lord, I wish my grandfather was still alive. He built so many well known structures in this county.....

Those houses are massive! What was the square foot price in Wisconsin?

From 100 (very basic) to 200. Most around 150.

Then you're in the same ballpark for this area. The quotes I had last spring ranged from 160 - 200, 100 for a low end rambler. Next you'll need land. Those homes don't look as if they'd fit on the lots of most area neighborhoods. Good Luck!
