I also got that same reaction when I walked out of the Solomons B.K. because they were out of cheeseburgers. And fries.
I went into a Subway once when they were out of bread. The clerk walks up and says, "We're out of bread." and walked away into the back room before I could say anything. They were the carryout place open and I was starving. I stood there and finally caught her attention again. She comes back really snippy, "I SAAID we're outta bread." I said, "you have salad don't you? chips? soda?"

The KFC in LP recently ran out of chicken. I was in the drive thru. She tried her hardest to convince me they still had mashed potatoes and biscuits. I went to Popeyes, and I like their chicken better anyway.

I was in a Norfolk VA McDonalds and asked for a pint of milk to drink. 15 minutes later they come up front to tell me they looked and looked, but only have half pints. I inquired if they were McStupid.

Friend of mine used to own a little country store. As to milk they had "little quarts," "quarts" and "big quarts."
Life was more simple then....

Ummm...

The fact that you were in a McDonald's and that's where they worked didn't give YOU a clue?

Not necessarily. Any service job is a good place to enter the work force. You learn to come to work on time and to realize that you better get some sort of job skills or you're doomed to poverty.
