Sorry Twisted, but this was a dumb question. The caterpillar doesn't fly...the butterfly does (and the butterfly has wings).

And for the person who said they glide, then why aren't they called butterglides?

I think my kramer was referring to my "flying squirrel" post but your argument still works. "Gliding squirrel"

Oh, Twisted, I take back my comment. I didn't read the question properly.

It says "will fly" not "flies."
