Recommendations needed for outdoor party venue

We live in the new apartments, so since we're not members of the pool I don't think we can rent it but does anyone know for sure?

I have the perfect place for you! Try Camp Merry Land out on StGeorge's island. I threw a camping weekend party and I had about 50 peopel show throughout the weekend. The owners are awesome!! They have cottages that you can rent or just plain campsites. They are fair with their prices and you can throw one hell of a party!!!

I use to live there over 20 years ago, I had the whole end of the island to myself, one other cabin was rented, I had the house. What a fun year that was, all that beach to myself. Had some great parties there. Awesome place. Drink all you want and stay there. They have shower house too.

I don't know where Dorsey park is but if it's county or state owned alcohol will not be allowed. Contact your local VFW, Legion or such and see if they would rent for outdoor use. Some have horseshoe pits and nice grills for use by members, possible they'd be willing to rent.

The County does allow alcohol at the parks that have rental pavilions in St. Mary's. When you rent the pavilion, you will need to apply for an alcohol permit. You are only allowed to consume alcohol at the pavilion.

When I rented one a couple times they just asked if I would have alcohol and that there was a 50.00 charge if so.
