Not for me, I am moving to Central Virginia. My son doesn't want to move and my daughter is on the fence. If they stay they will have to find a place to live..............grandma is in the area but they both said NO WAY....

When I first went out on my own, in 1984, I really had to struggle. My husband and I lived on bologna, eggs and veggies we grew ourselves. I learned alot and appreciate the things I have now and the things that I can afford. And one of those things is being able to help my kid so he does not have to struggle like that.

I appreciate that but if you're not willing to pay your kid's way then they may have to struggle at some point; even if its miniscule compared to your past experience.

He pays his bills, and one of those is 'rent' to me - for his portion of utilities. I am nice but not stupid! LOL. But there is no way he could afford a decent place to live, and keep up with utilities, and insurance and EAT.

We all had to struggle at some point but when there is not enough money there to even attempt to try then there is a problem....unless my kids live with a bunch of thier friends and as we all know that doesn't work for long.
