I believe that most of the people further south are related or have grown up together. Most of them can trace thier roots back to the beginning of the statehood of Maryland. My husbands family all live down there and I know they were some of the originals. I do love that about this area of Maryland....but as with all things times change and Southern Maryland is growing and expanding.

I sure wish it would. Not enough land for all the people down here now.
