UPDATE - AP/FoxNews has picked up on the story

Fowl Language: Convenience Store Taking Heat for Chicken Sandwich Billboard

A Pennsylvania convenience-store chain is taking heat from critics who say its new billboard campaign promoting a fried chicken sandwich contains foul language.

Sheetz unveiled the "Crispy Frickin' Chicken" billboards at the beginning of this month. Spokeswoman Monica Jones says about one-third of the company's 346 stores carry the sandwich, and the campaign consists of 100 billboards placed near those locations.

Jones says the campaign is aimed at young adults, and the company didn't intend to offend anyone.

Sounds like it was an attempt at clever advertising, I guess it backfired.

I saw it on a billboard Monday night. I believe it is the billboard near the Kmart shopping center. I had read about it on here, but didn't know they put one up here.

So you're offended by "frickin," but you're not a prude?

Irony at it's finest.

Here is something that might help you understand:
"For the times they are a-changin'."

Would you rather them say "frickin," or the other word that it trans-sends from twice? You gotta be kidding me, it's really not that big of a deal.

If somebody likes the idea of living in a world with at least some moral code, and they find this word offensive, then to them, it is a big deal and one worth their time to complain.
if others like the idea of living in an anything goes world, then they should by all means carry their fickin arse right on down and make sure that the moral loving people dont screw the immoral world up.

Gotta love America. or at least what it used to be
