probably not but its something for the boy and I to do, we like to go "naturing" looking for bugs, frogs, turtles, birds.... snakes.... you name it all outside.

I have to admit that whenever I see a blacksnake I have to catch it, fool around with it (nicely), and then let it go. Neither of us forget however that we dont like each other.

Well you are clearly a better person than I am. They scare me so much, I just run the other way or refuse to get out of my truck until someone comes and gets me out! lol. I can't even see them on tv or look at pictures of them. I went to the Epcot center one year and went to a 4D show and there was a snake in it...as soon as I saw it, I took my glasses off and closed my eyes for the rest of the show. No good!

daughter has a California Mountain King Snake in her room. Shes had it for over a year now.

I'm cool with snakes now. Wasn't in the past with the big ones. A friend had a Ball Python and they talked me into holding her and she was so nice! She never once tried to bite me and I wasn't too nervous holding her. She was awesome! Now I want one of those for myself, but hubby says no. He at least let me have my Blue Tongued Skink, my toads and my scorpion. Guess I can't complain too much!

Is that the same as a California King Snake? I had one that was black and white, babysat it for a friend for a few months. Kind of sad to give it back when she moved.
