I don't hate non-smokers but...

...I can't wait until they pass a law in Annapolis that bans something they enjoy doing, because it annoys the rest of us. We'll see how they like their nanny government then.

Their yappy little dogs
Their unruly children
Their unhealthy eating habits

In fact, I feel a very strong nut allergy coming on. I'm sure it will be impossible for me to go out in public where there might be someone eating a jar of Planter's or a PBJ. Peanut M&Ms and Snicker bars. I'm starting to wheeze just thinking about it and it's not really fair if I have to curtail my activities just so someone can eat peanut products that they don't really need anyway and are full of fat. And you never know - I may want to get a job at the Wawa, and all those candy bars and stuff will surely create a hostile working environment.

I'm a non-smoker but I don't complain either way. Should I give have to give up something too?

I wouldn't say that; they could be piling unwanted stress on you.

I have very sensitive hearing, and loud noises hurt my ears.

Not merely an annoyance, my dear, but a full-fledged public health crisis.

In Maryland, they came first for the gun owners, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a gun owner;
And then they came for the smokers, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a smoker;
And then they came for the Big Mac eaters, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Big Mac eater;
And then . . . they came for my peanut M&Ms . . . and by that time there was no one left to speak up.
