The road I'm talking about is 235, between gate 3 and 2. The cop in question must live somewhere near gate 3, 'cuz s/he comes out at that light and blows past me every morning. No way in hell that person is doing the speed limit, or responding to a call every single morning at the same time.

It was the BIL's day off yesterday until his pager went off.

You're an idiot.
Cops were out in force last night. I saw several every time I was on the road.
The goobers that ate the pole last night went through a radar trap right before they hit.

I totaly 100% understand the blame should be placed on our leaders of our State GOV. My point is their are not enough police resources to go around and with the cops that we do have their hands are full with an overwelming responses to domestic calls, robberys, drug dealers, crackheads, thiefs, and the list goes on and on. A cop can only write 10 tickets in one day and then out of the ten tickets 8 will end up in court taking more of their time off the street. This is why the state needs to deploy the Md State Highway Potrol so they can stay in court and write tickets.

Once again, you are an idiot. How will blaming the GOV stop the idiocy of a jerk who runs a radar trap at 115 mph in poor driving conditions going to help? The police were ALREADY ON THE SCENE. They could not have possibly done anymore than that, and no amount of legislation will change that.

I love being a police officer in this community, where the VAST majority of citizens still respect the job we do, and are glad we are here. This is not sarcasm, I really mean this. I worked in a jurisdiction where this was not the case. THANK YOU people of Southern Maryland, you make it easy to come to work!
