This problem is widespread in every major city in the US. We are lucky we have the laws that we do to enforce what little order we have on the roads. You should see how they drive overseas folks.

On another forum I read, someone refers to Rt4 as being the Southern Maryland Autobahn in his signature

I agree. Never been a time that I have driven on 4 when traffic is rolling at 70 mph plus.

Well for one Southern Maryland isnt a major city.

Secondly of all the places I've lived and traveled to the drivers here are the scariest.

Thirdly they do alot of things overseas but that doesn't mean we should.

No, but DC is...most people in somd commute there.

This place is pretty scary for drivers...not only cause they're nuts, but you never know who is a nut packin heat.

On your thirdly, I agree. I just meant some places are really bad with no enforcement of traffic laws, and people run amok.
