Metrocast's New HD Channels

Anyone have any information when Metrocast is supposed to roll out the additional HD channels that were promised to us? They sent out that flyer about 2/3 months ago and their website lists them but will still don't have them.

what difference does it make -- I have Metrocrap HD and it's on the fritz more than it works -- haven't had internet at home for the past month --

My HD channels and my internet access are just fine... I'm looking forward to the completion of the upgrade and checking out the many new channels.

Have you called in a trouble ticket...

Tickets have been called in -- to the point that they are re-evaluating the charges to our account to reimburse for outages since Oct 1 of last year -- we have had over 2000 - and each time they told me to buy a new modem, I did -- can't wait to see what techie guy says tomorrow when he comes out for his weekly coffee and cable line check --

Wow, that sucks. My sis just moved to Frederick last month and the Frederick Comcast internet wouldn't come up on her computer. She ended up having to upgrade her computer and then it worked fine.

I was wondering the same thing, when will the new channels be added? A co-worker told me that they have the test channels out now but I can't seem to find them.

HORRIBLE HD delivery by Metrocast

Paying extra for HD, only to switch to a lower channel. HD reception is the worst, despite 3 or 4 new boxes, adapters, removal of adapters, call after call. Nothing helps. During the day, HD reception is fine, at night, some channels such as 172 cannot be viewed. We are in Lexington Park.

They are available for an extra charge, we have had them for several months, albeit with very poor reception, especially at night and no matter how often the techs come by, they can't figure it out either - or so they say.

I need to call and complaign - the CNNHD channel has not been working.
And yesterday several of the network feeds were spotty - I could barely see wheel of fortune!
