I use to work @ Safeway back in HS - we use to find money all the time... you can tell who lost it and I cannot remember the amount of times this happened, it is a great feeling!

If I remember right, we would turn it in at the office and after a few days if the money was not claimed it was given to the person who found it!

Hubby was able to find the ladies address and took the purse to her sister. Apparently the girl just moved to the area and was going to be starting college at CSM.

With all the “bad” kids in the world, I just thought I would share this. There are still good ones out there who do the right thing. I am so proud of them!
Thank you for posting this with all the crap news out there. These kids rock!

I took the boys out to dinner last night. It was our way of saying thank you, you did a good job. After dinner my son said, "thanks mom, but ummmm if you really want to thank us, how about we go to Game Stop and buy some new games?"

I can guess why she assumes that. Because there's a lot of low lifes out there getting food stamps that don't need them -- but they need cash, probably for their drugs. I've heard of people buying like $200 in food stamps for $100 cash. The person they're buying them from just takes them to the grocery store. This is illegal as heck, and if one gets caught, plan on a hefty fine and some jail time.
