I was there about two weeks ago shopping for a washing machine. I ended up finding one that was in really great shape and only paid $50 for it. For being used, it was almost in new condition. The washers I saw at Lowe's & Best Buy retailed at $300 or more. It was a great deal!

I have been to the one in Alexandria, and I love it. You never know what you will find, just like any thrift store. I will have to check this one out too.

You can thank the folks that call them to come over to pick up their useless crap for the charge to donate. $10 to get rid of something you can't use any longer and get the tax writeoff while knowing in your heart you did a good deed? Priceless...
