Habitat for humanity/old bay district firehouse

If anyone is looking for reasonably priced home improvement items this is the place to go! There is a liitle bit of everything in there. We bought a bathroom vanity that looks brand new for $30, a sink for $15, and a chandelier set of two for $40. They have doors, windows, light fixtures, furniture, etc. What's really great is the things they get they fix up and sell. Everything is such a great price. I'm going back again tomorrow. You can even put your name on the wish list if you are looking for something in particular and they will call you if they get one in.

You're very welcome!
It's also nice that the money is going for a good cause. Also if anyone is interested, they take donations. We just donated a bunch of furniture.

I went in a few weeks ago. I wasn't impressed.
Most of the stuff looked like it needed to go to the dump, and I thought it was pricey for being in such bad shape. There were a few good items mixed in, but not many.

That being said, I did buy a lamp shade and a gun rack.
But I'll be in no hurry to go back.

Call first

Their hours for shopping is very limited; so call first.

I donated our stove - was in great shape. They picked it up at the house and gave us a tax receipt, 5 minutes total for the visit. Impressive.

Really? I didnt feel that way but I guess its all in what you're looking for. I felt some of the furniture and appliances were outdated but other things were in great shape. They had some things that were still brand new in the box and compared to what lowes sells them for they were a great price. They had front doors with the glass down each side that sell easily for over $1000 at lowes for $125. I thought that was a great deal, of course it did need to be cleaned. One man's junk, another man's treasure!

Not trying to throw the subject off, but Angel it looks like your a skins fan. How do you think we will do this year? Or, are you like myself and just don't determine how they will do because no matter what they will find a way to F it up. But, we love them anyways
