That's what I've been doing - we just moved here a few months ago and I can tell that the previous owners didn't do much weeding! Everyone around here says to wait until May to plant. Hopefully by then, I'll have all these weeds gone and can plants our flowers. I have a bad case of spring fever!!!

I think I might cheat and get a couple of potted plants for the porch next month and just bring them in at night in case of a frost.

That's what I have been doing. I forgot to bring everything in last night, but they seem fine today. I started my giant pumpkin seeds in peat pots way too early and the plants are growing like crazy...

Morning peeples! I already planted lettuce and onions, and just cover them up with a heavy tarp (over stakes so it doesn't touch) when the temp drops below 40. So far, so good. Plants are still doing good.
