Yeah. I could buy 10 new pairs at Target for that amount.

There is a Catholic charity Thrift shop in Prince Frederick on Main Street. For the life of me, I can't remember the name, but they have jeans in there for $4. I am going in there and stock up when I make another blue-jean quilt or skirt. All their other stuff is kind of like Goodwill, or Salvation Army quality, but every once in a while I find something good.

The one next to County Sports has .35 day on Tuesdays.

On 235, go past Great Mills Road, make a right on Tugali Place. It's in the same tiny strip mall as Linda's Cafe.

I miss the ones in Baltimore or even the one in Camp Springs. I went to both the one on Lex Park and Charlotte Hall looking for my faux fur 1960something coat and came up empty handed. The one in the park is frightening.

The one in Camp Springs we use to get real 70's jogging suits. Addidas, Puma, etc. I had a Puma gym bag that was certainly from the 70s. I wish I still had some of that stuff!

County Sports has moved to GMR.

But the thrift store you are referring to has 35 cent day on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for the clothes.

I knew a lady that used to go to a thrift store in Arlington all the time. She used to wear $500 and up suits to work all the time. I could not figure out how she could afford it, as she was only the receptionist and a single mom of 2 teenagers. We were talking one day and she told me about this thrift store where all the big wigs in Washington (and their wives) take their used stuff. We went one day, and it was like walking into an expensive department store. The stuff was incredible. I wish I could remember the name of it. They had it all there, and it was nice stuff!

The money from the SPOT thrift shop is for the Southern MD Spay & Neuter program. Last year they had over 185 cats and dogs spayed and neutered. They are currently located behind the auction house in St Leonard but have recently signed a lease at the recently vacated post office in St Leonard which is a much larger and nicer facility. PM me if you want more info on them!
